Once the Red Oak logs have been strategically placed for loading the container, a Doosan front end loader is used to “stuff” the container. A custom-made pusher is able to precisely move the logs into position to fill the container to full capacity (another video coming Friday!). Working in tandem, the log loader operator and front end loader operator can fill two containers per hour. After each container is filled the logs, they begin the first leg of their journey in which they will be exported to China for various uses such as furniture, flooring, and veneer.
